He not only turns enemies into friends but he also makes enemies fight each other.

this doesn't feel like talk no jutsu to me since 1. it wasn't a peaceful outcome,and 2. the talk didn't solve the problem but made it worst if it wasn't for blackgatomon they probably become casualties to sistermon ciel & metalphatomon fight.

The creator of the sistermon was not happy about the censoring of Noir in the west which just painted her blue, and decided to just use the chance to create a new sistermon instead of getting her Digimon cancelled by Western culture.

they actually took advantage of noir being censored and renamed as ciel to make a new digimon (100% real) and i guess they gave her a katana.

What a great ep, agreed it would have been a perfect Angoramon evolution ep, hope his actual one is just as impactful. Poor Kiyo, assaults from all sides, at least he managed to successfully dodge Ruri the second time.

Look, specially modified racing karts can be monsters (not in the digi- sense), but the kind you find at a go-kart track open to the public are very tame. I know this is FUTURE JAPAN, but even that delivery truck Sistermon Ciel chopped up could run laps around one.

Upon re-watching this:
Hiro asking Ciel if they can talk and her cutting the lamp post in half, telling him to shut up was gold. Him tricking her later on was like a revenge plan.

Btw, I realized that they translated Hyakki Yakkou as "Nightly Possession" at the sub.. While it's actually true, but the better translate would be "Night Parade of One Hundred Demons", which probably means that the Digimon race members would actually reach 100+, but reduced to few because of Metalphantomon's influence..

A fun episode with no evolutions. I love when they can do that.
Was hoping a bit for Angoramon's evolution though - considering it was all about how Ruli is good at go-kart and all. Even that one moment seemed like nice timing for the evolution.
Not disappointed though. It was fun to watch.
Interesting how the digimon got sucked into that attack rather than killed.

It was fun to see Sistermon Ciel in this one. Didn't like her attitude but nice to see her animated.

Actually you may count that sucked into Metalphantomon's Scythe as killed.. Pretty much like how technically you can't escape from MagnaAngemon's Heaven's Gate (exception to BlackWargreymon which opened it again before it fully closed)

i thought they explained it fair enough; the gate was a gate to the digital world since they went through it they very likely ended up back in the digital world, it was rice cooker not a cup and he intentionally opened a gate to warp all them back to the digital world. As to how he is able to open gates in the first place is yet to be reveled

hmm weird it was for me also not everything is meant to understand right off the bat so alot is left in the dark, as the story goes on we eventually get our answers. for the watch thing i don't think it that puts them in the digital world...its more of a digital field that works like middle world between both....something like that I'm sure someone else can give a better description

Isn't Sistermon Ciel an Ultimate? Black Tailmon shows up again.

Sistermon is actually one of the high-tier Champion (Adult) level.. All sistermon spesies are members of Huckmon attendance, in which, they actually worship Jesmon (Huckmon's True Mega Form)..

Also, specifically for Sistermon Ciel herself, she's pretty much a powered-up assassin when night falls (also explains her crazy yandere-like nature), so yeah, she can go toe-to-toe with Metalphantomon in Night, but probably can't do it during the Day..

Metalphantomon is at least an Ultimate too, so the balance is respected. :3

There are a few champions/adults that can go toe to toe against other ultimate Digimons, just look at Angemon for example.
